NOW HIRING: Communications and Events Coordinator

Communications and Events Coordinator

Salary: $53,000 per year (40-hour work week)

The Dream Project’s mission is to empower Virginia high school graduates whose immigration status creates barriers to post-secondary education. We support these students in accessing and succeeding in college through scholarships, mentoring, and scholar and alumni support.

About the Position

The Communications and Events Coordinator will lead The Dream Project’s internal and external communications efforts, developing communications campaigns and materials, and coordinating promotional activities. In addition, the Coordinator will play a key role in advancing our mission through impactful, inspiring, and well-executed events. You will design, coordinate, and deliver a diverse portfolio of programs and gatherings that build community, support our initiatives, and amplify our message. You will manage every aspect of the event lifecycle — from concept to execution — ensuring high-quality experiences that reflect The Dream Project’s values of empowerment, innovation, and inclusivity.

This position requires residence in the Northern Virginia/D.C. metropolitan area. It is a hybrid role, allowing for regular remote work with partial in-office presence and mandatory attendance at all in-person program meetings and events.

Interested applicants should submit a resume and cover letter to hr@dream-project.org. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority given to those received by July 15, 2025.
